Cellivate is based out of Singapore. Cellivate Technologies has developed a proprietary platform technology that produces cell-based serum to replace fetal bovine serum (FBS), a $1B+ input used in biotech, cultivated meat, and cell therapy. Their system uses magnetic field stimulation to trigger cells to release novel extracellular vesicles (EVs) that replicate and surpass the effects of FBS — ethically, consistently, and at scale. The platform supports two revenue streams: direct serum sales and licensing our biomanufacturing system. They’re starting with biotech and pharma, where they already have LOIs, and plan to expand into skincare and regenerative applications as they scale.
